Marlis graduated from Kenyon College in 1993 with a BFA in Fine Art, concentration in Painting. Marlis has been working as an illustrator and designer since 1996 when she graduated from Portfolio Center in Atlanta, GA. 



Her passion for art and painting led her to illustration, the commercial design world and more recently to teaching children and adult private art classes.



"I love the creative design process. The twists and turns and evolution of an idea is fascinating to witness and to be a part of the process. Each project brings a new set of problems to solve and a new product or industry to explore. I love the variety and the experience to work creatively to solve problems."
